Beautiful OXBLOOD RED 1956 Jaguar XK 140 former showcar. Car had been in the same owner for the past 14 years. Owner drove it to shows here in Florida and never drove in inclement weather. The underside is near flawless. Not a speck of rust on this car. The wood floorboards are in perfect shape. The body has been meticulously maintained. Original body panels including some recently sanded and media blasted hood, trunklid, and doors. Recently the owner decided to restore much of the body trim and interior. Well over $10000 was spent on rechroming and updating the body. Chrome bumpers and trim are sparkling new. Dual exhaust. Brand new gas tank. The interior seats could use a restore as well as some of the interior trim, although some of the trim has been reupholstered already. Will inlude some of the remaining fabric for you to complete the few parts. Comes with most every part, but may be missing a couple parts as seen in the pictures. HAS ITS SIDE WINDOWS and FRAMES Still has its original XK drive shaft in it. Underside was redone also and looks FACTORY NEW you can eat off it. Compared to whats out there now for XK's this car is priced to sell. The NADA guides value for this model is way in the high $60,000-$120,000 range completely restored. Still has its dataplate and other data tags. Comes with separate, refurbished interior trim pieces (not completely installed). Has its original body tag showing the "A" "JLE" designation for Laycock de Normanville overdrive transmission, and the "DN" designation for its original Special Equipment from the factory.
