1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate. A real joy to drive. Starts easily, runs well, moves right along, and tracks straight. All shifting is smooth except downshifting into first. Shifting slowly and deliberately seems to alleviate this. No knocking or any other sounds that would be cause for concern. The seats are in great shape and the interior looks good, except for one crack in the dash (see photo) All lights work as they should. Wipers are slow to get going, but once the car warms up they work. A new top (still in the box) is included in the sale. This is a Graduate, but is has Veloce wheels. The original Graduate wheels will also be included in the sale. Disclaimer. This is an old car and it has rust. I have no auto mechanic or metal working experience, but I will do my best to accurately represent this car's flaws so that there are no surprises. I do not know the car's history. I have owned it since July 2016 and put 2000 miles on it with no issues. The car is not currently inspected in New Hampshire. Last inspection was in Massachusetts 2016. Known issues:Rust throughout. Rockers and floorboards need work. There is a hole in the spare tire well in the trunk, and one in the driver-side floorboard (see photos) Chips, small dents, scratches throughout (see photos) Paint is in rough shape throughout, but especially bad on the trunk (see photo). Tach is not functioning (all other gauges work) The previous owner told me the emergency brake sticks, so I have never used it. The trim piece that holds the driver-side sun visor broke. Visor is currently in the trunk. The shelf that holds the battery in the trunk is broken. Top has a patch in the rear window. The radio is not original and only one speaker is working. Passenger side electric mirror is frozen. Driver's side works fine. Heater does not work From the floor up, this car is actually in pretty nice shape. You could get it inspected, drive it for the rest of the summer as is, and have a winter project. Sold as is and sale is final.
