1974 Honda Elsinore MT250 Unrestored Has Factory Original Paint This is a first year Factory Originl paint 1974 Honda Elsinore MT250 Vin# MT250-1019442 Motor Vin# MT250E-1019304 Manufacture date: 8/73 This Motorcycle has One Thousand Three Hundred and Forty Seven Original Miles The tires are the factory original Nitto both front and rear. Many people dance around the words " Original Paint " The Paint on this motorcycle was applied by the Honda factory in 1973 Everything on this bike appears to be Original Factory Honda. The following things work. 1. Headlight. both high and low beam.2. Tail and brake Lights.3. Speedometer, Tack, and all gauge lights.4. Neutral light.5. Horn.6. Front and rear brakes.7. Clutch, Transmission, and all gears shift as they should.9. The motor runs like new and has a lot of compression.10. The oil injection system works. Please Note the following: 1. The battery side cover is from a 1975 and will not go with the bike. You will need to replace the side cover. 2. The left foot peg is from a 1975. 3. The left rear turn signal will need to be replaced. 4. The battery should be replaced Please Note: This is a 43 year old Motorcycle. It has scratches, nicks. some small pits in some of the chrome, minor dents in the tank etc.Just like a 43 year old motorcycle should. I hope the new owner understands that this is an unrestored original paint 43 year old very collectible vintage Honda and it should never be restored. I could have touched up some small paint areas and made this motorcycle look new. It is so original, I did not want to touch it. Please Note: This Motorcycle has never had a title and is being sold with a bill of sale. If your state requires a title for a 43 year old motorcycle, You can title it thru the mail in the state of Vermont because it is under 350CC. You do not need to be a resident of Vermont to do this.
