Vehicle Detail
Good day eBay and Trail 70 fans. Up for your consideration is this very original and well documented HK0 4-speed. This bike came from CamelBack Honda in Phoenix, AZ. It has a clear Arizona title and is ready to ride. The Candy Emerald Green paint is in very good condition. The only paint issues are visible in the pictures around the ignition key. The rest of the paint is as good as I’ve seen on an original bike. Thanks to the dry climate the metal surfaces are in excellent shape. There is no pitting on the chrome or discoloration. The documentation sets this bike apart. It has the original Manufacturer's Statement of Origin (MSO), the order form from the dealership, the sales brochure when new, and the warranty card including welcome letter from Honda. MSO’s are very rare. Typically they are surrendered when the bike is titled or registered. This H model is everything I look for in a CT70. Straight handlebars, clear speedometer with a clean overlay, reasonably low milage, straight seat-pan with a good cover, original engine , and it runs and rides like it should. It starts up easily, idles well, does not smoke, and shifts smooth. This bike has a TrailBikes 88cc cylinder kit installed. The kit includes an aluminum cylinder and larger piston. This is a common performance upgrade and works well with the rest of the engine stock. The carburetor has been jetted-up to accommodate the 88cc kit. The bike runs very strong with this setup. The engine sounds great and there are no unusual valve-train noises. The stock cylinder and piston are included with the sale. The stock piston moves freely and the cylinder is in perfect shape. Also included with the sale is the rear rack. It is a reproduction rack made by CHP. The racks are nice to have but I like the way the bike looks without it installed. I have a motorcycle shipper that I can put you in contact with if needed. The bikes are shipped with a motorcycle transporter and arrive COD. I will deliver the bike for a fee in Tucson, Phoenix and surrounding areas. Please reply to the listing for a fast response. I can also send you a link to a Google photo album with more pictures. Thanks for your interest! -Rusty
