Vehicle Detail

Selling my 1973 Honda CB350F, yes that's right folks, a 350cc four cylinder, not the far more common (and way less cool) 350cc twin. This is a well loved, well cared after survivor that has been ridden sporadically and maintained as needed. This is not a restored, showroom-perfect example, nor is it a "barn-find" project that hasn't seen the road in decades. It's a cool, rare, old bike that you can actually use and enjoy as it is. Despite being 44 years old, it still looks great! Time to sell so I can make room in the garage for my other bikes. While it's not running right now, it only needs some minor love in the usual spots. I haven't ridden it since last year since the choke lever snapped and I had a hard time finding what I needed, then bought a Harley a few weeks later. Over the 3 years I've had the CB, I've kept it pretty tastefully original with a few expensive upgrades. It's garage kept, there's been seasonal carb cleans and oil changes, I've swapped out the exhaust for a MAC 4 into 1 with a cone engineering shorty reverse cone canister. I've put on lower profile "street bike" handle bars that look sleeker and don't break your back. Switched out the bulky rear tail light for a British Style with one with an alloy mount bracket and the front blinkers to some smaller bullet ones (I have the rear ones too, just never changed them). There's a a nice and light easy to charge lithium ion racing battery in it so you want have to deal with the inefficiency of a liquid cell in a 40+ year old machine.I've also got a whole bunch of things you can have if you like including: The original tail light and indicators, another pair of the bullet lights, a less aggressive sounding truer to OEM chrome exhaust, and lower profile cafe seat if you wanna chop the fender and turn it into a brat, a new triple tree since the one on there is SLIGHTLY off center, some fork gaiters boots, original highway bars, and a the in depth Clymer manual. I also have the original manual and a low amp battery charger you can have with it if you'd like. What's wrong with it: honestly not too much. All easy fixes. The worst being the choke lever, because it's a 350 Four and not the standard, it's not the easiest piece to find. If you're handy I have the piece and it would be an easy weld and alternatively you could probably have the little piece machined for you for maybe $20 from the right person. I disconnected the electric start because it was having grounding issue and trying to cycle through restarts. It's doing it because it's missing the tiny spring that goes behind the button. The wiring part is fine, and you can pick a button up for a few bucks on dimecitycycles or 4into1. It's been idle for almost a year so there's some basics like an oil change, a carb clean and a full battery charge but she still has great compression and should kick right on with the battery changed and the choke lever (or just a fresh zip tie). Other then that cosmetically there's one very small dent in the right side of the tank that was there when I bought it, but the rest of the original paint is pretty immaculate. No major rust anywhere except for the center stand, and the tires are relatively new and in good condition (could just use some air)Great bike I'm going to miss, but an easy project for someone looking to get into cafe's or even easier for someone with more experience. Feel free to shoot me a message with any questions. I'm happy to work with uShip or any of your preferred shipping operators, or am available for local pickup. The bike is located at my garage in Williamsburg Brooklyn, New York. Here's a video of how she sounds from last summer
