1973 Mercedes Benz 280 SEL 4.5 project car. Gas V8 with Bosch mechanical fuel injection (what I read anyway). Only started it once since last November and it started up on the first crank. Have never had to charge the battery, and I only started it twice in 2016. Parked it the one time I drove it that year when it blew a 10-inch tranny cooler line off the radiator. took all the trim off and was going to restore it or rat rod it but dont have time now with other stuff going on, will run this one time then parts are going on the MB forums. thats a lot of work, but the glass is good, the seats are good, its got good wood trim and badges, grill etc, and of course it would be a shame to waste the "million mile motor" as they call the 4.5. original bosch running lamps, bilstien jack are in the tub. never used spare tire, hole rusted thru the spare tire wheel well but rest of trunk is solid. no trunk lock, sent off to Houston to MB for new key twice, never worked. will have to be towed or trailered. would prefer cash, clear Indiana title, which I misplaced, lol, but I just paid the bmv $15 for a duplicate. Also have the "historic vehicle" plate it had on it when I got it from KY. odometer stopped at 18K. I jokingly put trim as "in a box" and ebay put that in the title.
