Up for auction is my 1983 BMW R65 Motorcycle. 24,660 miles. Clear KS Title. I bought it to turn it into a cafe style motorcycle. I rode it a couple of times. Plans changed and it ended up parked in the garage and it hasn't been ridden since. I recently got it out. It fired right up but the clutch is not allowing it to go into first gear. If it were a Harley I could work on it but I know nothing about BMWs and I'm too old to learn. The paint is good for its age. The tank under one of the knee pads has a small pushed in area that is not real noticeable but you can see it. The rest of the metal looks good. It has new tires and a mini-fairing. All-in-all this is a decent looking BMW that has sat too long. Needs servicing, etc. and ridden and enjoyed. Here is your chance to get an older BMW that needs servicing, etc. for an honest, needs work price. I set the opening bid at just $900 so if you are interested it is a good deal. I appreciate the viewers who have given remedies on how to free the clutch which looks like an easy fix. I don't have service records. The guy I purchased it from did the work himself. The fly screen (mini-windshield) is aftermarket. Yes, the battery tender that is hooked up to the battery goes with the motorcycle. Nothing will be taken off the bike. What you see on the bike is what you get. I have two keys that go with the motorcycle - they look to be original - one key folds.
