Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a gorgeous and most authentic Cobra ERA build. Connolly leather interior seats, dash, door panels, and glove box cover. This car is as close to an original that you can achieve. Halibrand knock-off wheels, jaguar rear end, finished carpeted trunk, glove box, windshield wipers, heat, and factory interior air vents on both driver and passenger side. Includes convertible top (excludes side curtains), and new factory ERA custom felt lined car cover. Authentic 428CJ engine, built by ERA recommended top shelf Danbury Performance with Edelbrock performance heads, intake, cam, and performance pistons. Authentic Holley 750 carb, aircleaner, and chrome 427SC valve covers. All engine and car build documentation is available that include many more performance parts and components. Cobra enthusiasts all know ERA is by far the best reproduction car today. Thank you for taking a look and welcome your questions and feedback. On Jul-30-17 at 04:39:33 PDT, seller added the following information: I have all documentation for the build including listing of all performance parts, engine bore and specs, receipts from all items. To purchase a rolling chassis today it would be $59,995, plus add an engine build at $15,000. This car is an outstanding and best build of any reproduction. ERA, unlike Super Performance, has steel beams that come up behind the body front door jams where the doors bolts. This leaves an incredibly strong and rigid mounting of the door and maintains alignment as well as the windshield. True authentic chrome plated brass windshield, just like the original, is solid and rigid leaving no vibration or flex. Another important facet of the ERA is the foot pedal mounting. They mount to the frame under the floor precisely like the original versus hanging from the top as in all other reproductions. The underside of the hood and truck are reinforced with molded beams, exactly like a production car today, giving strength and rigidity to the component where others are simply a skin of fiberglass that flex when opening. I have attended Barrett-Jackson five years in a row and have tracked all Cobra sales and have yet to see an ERA, the best reproduction, and this car would bring $70-$80k there. Feel free to ask questions. Car can be inspected locally on a lift at anytime. Thank you once again for looking.
