I'm slowly selling off my collection of vintage bikes. I've owned this Honda for about 12 years and driven it about 2000 miles in that time. It was professionally tuned and carbs synchronized three summers ago. It runs beautifully, shifts effortlessly and stops as it should. The bike is completely original with the exception of seat which was redone in leather to the original pattern. It is the perfect rider in that you can show it one day and put 300 miles on it the next. I'll guarantee you will be the only 6 cylinder at your next ride in. It's the perfect two up machine with a real classic flare. There are no dings or scratches. The exhaust shines like new and the paint is still vibrant. The bags are super clean and the key locks work smoothly to remove them. The only flaw is a bit of road rash on the tip of the front fender which I focused on in one of the pics. The tires are old. OK for a quick ride around the block but are chafed and show some cracking. They should be replaced if you're planning to do some real riding. Unfortunately, I only ride it two or three times a year and it's time for someone else to enjoy. This is a no reserve auction and absolutely worth the starting price. Nice ones like this are hard to come by and values are climbing. Note: just looked at the title and realized it's a 1982 not a 1981. '82's were white pearl and '81's were gray with red stripes. Sorry about that. '82 was the last year for the CBX. Note: A gentleman emailed me with regard to the Vin# I listed. He was absolutely correct. The number I listed was the title #. Dah!!! The Vin is JH2 SC0601CC400294. I'm holding a signed Minnesota title. If that presents a problem for the winning bidder, I will first transfer to my name.
