Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1968 Chevy Camaro Super Sport Convertible. No Motor or Trans. Missing console with the rally gauges and both deluxe door panels. This car was stored in a garage since 1998 when it was dismantled and they started a restoration. I have a dated photo album that shows the car as he bought it a ss when you could still find them . They replaced the complete floor, trunk pan, lower firewall, both toe pans and both outer rocker panels. The inner rocker panels had a small patch put in the front. Both side rear inner and outer wheel houses were replaced. The quarter panels had a small patch put in the fronts. They are the original quarters. There is a new rear body panel installed. All the front sheet metal is new but has slight surface rust that can be removed. The front end has been completely rebuilt all new bushings and joints. Has a complete manual top frame with a blue top on it. Has an original race track number on the back window when they ran it down the strip. Has a 10 bolt in the back but not original. Has a complete set of rally wheels on the car. Has the tic toc tach in the dash. Steering column is laying inside the car. You get the front deluxe seats that are in good shape and you get the back which are also in good shape. There is a new front valance and a convertible support for the floor that have to be put on. There is a new front bumper and a used rear bumper that also goes with car along with 2 bins full of new bolts and stuff that went to car both kick panels also I had more pictures of the repairs but only could put in 24. Whom ever did the metal work did a very nice job !! First car I have seen that had its original quarters and trunk it almost makes sense to repair trunk lid and put the paint pin striping artwork back on. Has the deluxe conv. top surround extra trim piece also. Real solid car. All the hard metal work is done . Has both side of the manual top covers in blue. Tic Toc Tach has a redline of 5000 to 7000. Car has a nos 350 fender emblem which goes with car. Motor must have blown up and disappeared but still an SS. Front disc brakes are all new replacements also but the calipers are off car. No stainless front windshield trim either. Has an am radio. Clear NJ Title in my Name. Please do not call and ask for the reserve or if I want to sell it as a buy it now. Its going to be fair to everybody who wants to bid on this car. Any questions you can call my cell Eastern time 609 480 1859 Thanks Bob
