You are bidding on my 1972 Honda CL 350 Scrambler in Honda Strato Blue Metallic, original paint. This is an original, un-restored motorcycle. 1 owner since new. I actually have the ORIGINAL BILL OF SALE FROM THE DEALER from the day he bought it new. It comes with the bike. It is a 1971, that is titled as a 1972. This was very common back in the day. Dealers would title a bike in the year that they sold it. The bike has been stored in a garage for many years, and recently I found it and bought it from the original owner, so, I guess you could say 2 owners. The original owner represented to me that the bike always ran great but that he had not ridden it in many years. I put a battery in it and it turns over and lights work, brakes work, and it shifts in the stand still position as you roll it along. It has the original tool kit!!! It has rust in the tank and I am not going to mess with that. I will leave that up to the new owner. So I am selling it as a non running bike and I am not going to spend any time trying to work on it more. I have no time. It needs to go to a good Honda person who either wants to clean the tank out themselves or, have a mechanic do it for you. That said, overall, the bike appears pretty good. The seat is very good. The bike has the original Honda mirrors, grips and paint. The side covers are not cracked. There is a small crack as shown in the plastic head light bucket. The throttle works the carb slides too. Yes it has spark too. AND, the exhaust pipes and mufflers are darn near like new!! The chrome on them is really nice as you can see. I was going to part the bike out on eBay, as I think the exhaust alone will bring good money. That said, I cannot get myself to take apart and part out such a cool old original Honda. So, here you are. This is a NO RESERVE, auction and the bike will be sold to the high bidder. I reserve the right to cancel your bid if you are a first timer and don't contact me prior to bidding.
