I'm selling my RAM 2500 Cummins diesel in excellent mechanical condition, with a clean interior (no rips/tears) and good body. This was a southern truck for most of its life (see a Carfax). Has the full towing package, including a Tekonsha trailer braking system and all interior options. When not towing this truck gets 30MPG or better - NO KIDDING. It has a 36 gallon tank so can get about 1000 miles per tank. It's a great truck. I sold the RV that I used to pull with this and so I haven't been using this truck much. I can use the money, so time for it to go. The GOOD:- Cummins 5.9L with low miles (these trucks go 600,000)- Well maintained with most recent service record- New brakes, calipers, rotors within last 2 years- New brake lines and hoses in last 3 months- New tires within last 18 months with less than 3000 miles on them- New oil and ATF in last month- A/C blows ice cold- Bed cover included- Full towing package, including a Tekonsha trailer braking system (see pics) - Can tow 12,000+ lbs (according to 1999 TrailerLife tow ratings)- Tight steering - steers dead straight and does not wander all over the road like some of these- Little rust for a truck of this vintage in this area (was southern and I didn't drive it in winter)- Rockers and cab corners are solid- Rocker bottom pinch welds completely intact on both sides (see pics)- I would not be surprised if the owner before me put a new bed on the truck due to the lack of rust on the bed and rear wheel wells (see pics) The LESS GOOD:- Bumper has surface rust (which I have put metalized tape over - see pics). New bumper comes with the truck- A couple bubbles on the hood (see pics)- Front fenders showing rust behind the wheel wells. This is very common and I have not bothered. New fender panels are $75 at Rockauto - see the part here- Left side of the stereo went out. Don't know why but I got an new OEM factory stereo in box and it comes with the truck. Please be aware that, although this is in good condition, this is an 18 year old truck and not perfect. Also, this is NOT a 4 wheel drive truck, so if you must have that, be aware. In this model that is actually a good thing. The 2WD steering was well designed, and unlike some of the early 4WD models, this one steers dead straight and does not wander all over the road.
