This is a 1977 Honda Z50A. I just finished restoring her. She runs and rides great, doesn't leak or burn any oil, and shifts smoothly through all 3 gears. The lights work and light brightly. Brakes work like new. The handlebars fold down as intended. Now I'll tell you what I did to her. The engine was completely disassembled and cleaned. It was then reassembled properly with all new seals and gaskets. Clutch discs were replaced. The piston, rings, and cylinder were replaced. Valves were reseated and adjusted. The points and condenser were replaced. Carburetor was replaced with a new reproduction carb. The air filter is original with a new OEM element. Exhaust system is new OEM. The frame, swing arm, and upper fork were soda blasted, primed, and repainted. Paint used on front fork, fuel tank, and side cover is as close to the original Tahitian red as I could find. The fuel tank is a brand new repro, as is the side cover. Both fenders are brand new OEM. Front and rear shocks are both new. Handlebars, grips, switches, lever, and fold down hardware is all new. Seat pan and foam are original, seat cover is a repro. Headlight and tail light assemblies are brand new. Headlight bucket is new OEM. Tires are new Bridgestone Trail Wing 2. OEM tools are located behind side cover. Chain and both sprockets are all new. Throttle and brake cables are new. The only defects are cable wear on the original neck tube as shown in pics, and some minor dings in the original chain guard. I may have forgotten to list some incidentals, but the bike is ready to last another 40 years. I have been repairing these Hondas since the mid seventies, and have repaired or restored hundreds of them. I'm retired now but have been a master mechanic for years, now it's a hobby for me. Everything to spec, nothing cobbed. Wife says I'm anal. There is no title included. Bike will be sold with "Bill of Sale" only. There is no shipping. Buyer must arrange for pick up.
