For sale 1980 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 odometer says 69k I assume its 169 I just got this truck a couple months ago so it may look familiar. I am not selling because of issues trust me i have loved this thing and would NOT be selling right before summer if i wasn't forced to. Family issues and I need the money so my loss is your gain. Since buying I have put over $1400 into it already making updates here and there. I really have loved driving this thing and have used it as a daily commuter and it start right up every time! I recently went on a trip with some people from Colorado FJ and it kept up just fine minus a few spots that lockers would have helped and i was the only 40 there. Seriously if you added lockers this thing would have no problem doing anything a Cruiser can do.GOOD-Motor runs strong haven't had any issues there changed oil as soon as i got it in March and i just drive local. Completed rear disc brake switch so now has 4 wheel disc / Still have all original drums partsChanged rear Diff fluid when completed brake job still have all new oil i was planning to use to do the front Diff and Transmission as wellNew steel braided brake lines in rearNew master cylinder for 4 wheel disc (has 1 reservoir versus original had 2) I still have the original.Took out jumper seats and installed Besttop Bench seat ( i have kids its better for carseat) If you don't want it i would gladly keep it and take some off the price ( Still have jump seats in GREAT condition)New headlights (still have original)Rough Country lift tires are fairly new at least 65% leftToughy center consoleI just replaced the seals between the tub and top. i have the seal for the top but hadn't installed it yetPrevious owner installed weber carb. its been working great and i don't mind it so i left it.previos owner also purchased a new wiring harness and gave it to me but i haven't had a reason or time to install yet (besides gauge cluster light everything works fine)Lots of extra parts / original parts BAD-Body is rough but its a 40 rust happens. the top has some bad spots it really never bothered me and like i said before i was looking to put a bikini top on soon anyway.
