I have for auction, a 1981 Suzuki PE 250 X that is in very nice mostly original condition. The engine is in excellent mechanical condition with low miles on a fresh top end, new clutch, new crank seals, new air filter, and runs very strong. Fuel tank is solid with very little fade and no leaks. The front fender has virtually no fade and no cracks. The side covers are in excellent condition with virtually no fade. The rear fender is in very nice condition with some fading but no cracks. The headlight housing and front number plate were painted yellow by the previous owner due to fading. The headlight housing is solid with no cracks or damage. The front number plate is in good condition, with a crease at the top which can be seen in the photographs. All plastics are OEM Suzuki items, and are not aftermarket replacements. The decals on the fuel tank and side panels are new high-quality items which were purchased from Dave Moto in the UK. Both front and rear lights work. The wheels are straight and true with original spokes. The fork boots were replaced long ago by the previous owner with yellow in place of the original black boots. The seat cover was also replaced by the previous owner with a 1980's era Ceet brand cover. The odometer is a new old stock item and is in as new condition. The handle bars are not original Suzuki, but are very nice with no bends. At some point, the kill switch was replaced by the previous owner with an on/off toggle switch that is mounted next to the odometer. Brakes are new on both front and rear. The original shifter was replaced with a very nice folding unit by the previous owner. This bike appears to have been very well cared for and it would be really difficult to find a better PE 250 anywhere. I have listed this bike as having a clear title, but being a dirt bike, it does not have a title and will come with a Bill of Sale only.
