1995 Volvo 960 Stretch Limo/Limousine. This limo has the classic Volvo look. It's an amazing vehicle with timeless beauty. The power plant is plenty for the vehicle with three driving modes (Winter/Wet mode - enhanced vehicle traction, Sport Mode and Economy Mode) in reliable rear wheel drive. The 960 is equipped with a Porsche-developed, smooth-running 2.9-liter inline six-cylinder engine that has two overhead cams and 24 valves, providing a burst of power when entering highways. The aluminum engine is rated at 181 horsepower at 5,200 rpm. Torque is set at 199 pound-feet at 4,100 rpm. The reliable 960 doesn't have peaks and valleys of performance, as do many 24-valve six-cylinder cars. Its engine pulls consistently at any speed, delivers excellent passing power and cruises unflinchingly at highway speeds. The 960 handles as well as some sports cars. Credit front-suspension of MacPherson struts with offset, mounted coil springs and stabilizing bar. and a redesigned, multi-link independent rear suspension. The rear suspension includes an aluminum subframe mated with a long leaf spring, gas shocks and a stabilizer bar. The upshot is more driver control and less car-body roll.In short, this limo drives great! Considering its age, this limo looks pretty good, inside and out! See photos for paint/finish/glass/bondo flaws. It has the typical scratches, scrapes, tears, cracks, chips and wear marks, inside and out, that you would expect of a vehicle this age. In addition, the bondo areas where this limo was stretched have some cracking. The worst spot is spalled area on the roof (see photo), about the size of a quarter. The windshield has a cracked corner, lower driver's side. It is not in the normal field of view.
