For sale is my 2007 BMW F650GS. No reserve auction. *** Willing to meet seller or deliver motorcycle to either Chicago, St. Louis, or Indianapolis. *** I've absolutely loved every minute of owning this motorcycle and have debated back and forth about selling it, but we have a new baby joining our family shortly and I just don't ride it as much as I'd like. Am hoping it goes to a good home that will enjoy it as much as I have and will see many more adventures. I'll try to describe everything about it, but if I've missed something, please feel free to reach out to me directly for any additional questions. This is a 2007 F650GS with the very reliable Rotax engine. I've never had any problems with the motorcycle in the time I've owned it. Heated hand gripsABSElectric startOEM BMW hand guardsUpgraded Givi windscreen. This windscreen is slightly large than the stock BMW one and does a great job re-directing wind when riding. (I have the original BMW windscreen and it comes with the motorcycle. Nothing is wrong with it, just upgraded to the Givi.)5 speed transmissionCaribou Cases 35L Pelican luggage system. This system has a limited lifetime warranty - if the case ever breaks they will replace it for free. It attaches to the Austrian made Hepco-Becker luggage rack. It's a very well made pannier system - the cases are awesome and won't dent or leak like some aluminum cases will. I wanted something not too wide and these are perfect. I'm able to fit my laptop bag with plenty of room when riding to work, and I was able to fit everything I needed to get away for a couple of days ride. The cases are 20.7" x 17.2" x 8.6", and aren't too bulky for everyday riding. They're super easy to take off - unlock with the key and place the cases in the garage for a quick spin. I usually kept them on the bike as they are great for picking up some groceries on the way home from work, and didn't create noticeable additional noise.Wunderlich 45 tooth rear sprocket - I purchased and installed a 45 tooth rear sprocket for better highway cruising. (Stock is a 47 tooth sprocket.) It lowers the RPM for highway cruising and makes it a little more comfortable when riding on the interstate. (I still have the OEM BMW sprocket, it's in good shape and it will be included in the sale if you'd like to change back to the OEM sprocket.)Moose Racing Hybrid footpegs - these are made from stainless steel and given a solution-annealing treatment and age hardened for strength. They're also slightly convex and have dual-plane teeth. They're also about 3x wider than the stock BMW pegs. (Again, I still have the stock pegs and will include those with the sale. They're in good shape, just not nearly as nice as these Moose Racing footpegs.)Full BMW oil change just performed less than 100 miles ago.The motorcycle is mounted with Metzler Tourance tires - they have around 3,500 miles on them.Centerstand and side kickstand are stock from BMWI also added an adapter to the battery - it allows a Battery Tender to be attached when storing it for the winter without requiring removal of the body panels.New battery purchased and installed at the BMW dealership in 2016. This has been an awesome motorcycle and I'm going to miss having it around, but it's time for it to have a new owner. I've been particular with the maintenance and upkeep with it and for a 2007, it's in very good shape and is ready to enjoy and have some adventures.
