DESCRIPTION: (one owner no accidents) For sale is an extremely well maintained, garage kept 1991 Mitsubishi Montero LS - 4X4 4-Wheel Drive automatic transmission. Purchased from the original owner and comes with the original title aswell. The owner was 80 years old and bought this Montero brand NEW in 1991.. Vehicle was used to visit many national parks and went on lots of fishing trips throughout it's life.. This Montero is the loaded LS model that has 239k original miles with a clean and clear title. Never abused and in incredible condition for a 25 year old truck . Runs and drives excellent. All services are up to date. A very rare and hard to find LS model. Vehicle is in great original condition, showing less than average wear and tear. Truck comes with three keys, tools, jack and original gas cap. Its a rare unmolested survivor. This truck has original glass except the windshield. Also has a heavy duty John Baker trailer hitch that comes with it. ENGINE: The engine runs excellent and very quiet. All service and maintenance up to date. With 239k miles and new cylinder heads this Montero will be reliable for 200k miles.. SERVICE & MAINTENANCE INCLUDES: New Timing belt and tensioner, all new belts, rebuilt left /right cylinder heads including valve grind, valve guides, seals, milled and new head bolts, water pump and thermostat, front main seal. $2000 in labor and parts. It goes into all the gears perfectly with no slipping issues. 4Wheel drive work great. INTERIOR: It has the original cloth interior. It is in good condition for the year (please see photos) does have some damage or flaws in the drivers and passenger seat but not to bad .. The carpets are clean and not soiled. The dash board is crack free in great condition. Comes with new black all weather floor mats. Has the rare (bouncy suspension drivers seat) PAINT AND BODY: The body is rust free and in great shape with original silver paint in good condition with some flaws including very small dents,chips and or scratches in various places on the body.. Has small rock chip on the top of windshield. I had a few corrosion spots on the passenger door and fenders touched up recently. This vehicle is 25 years old so please don't expect vehicle to be like a new car.. It is however a very straight vehicle and hard to find in this condition. Undercarriage cleaned and corrosion coating professionally applied. WHEELS AND TIRES: Original aluminum wheels with all terrain tires all around. Also has matching spare aluminum wheel. ELECTRICAL AND ACCESSORIES: It has the factory A/C system that blows cool not cold and need to be recharged down the road. Has auto door locks and roll up windows.. It also has the original stereo. No warning lights on in dash of any kind.. EXHAUST: Exhaust system is in great shape and 0 leaks. SUSPENSION AND BRAKES: The suspension is in good shape and rides smooth but needs shocks soon. You will love this classic Montero's nice looks and great ride with fantastic reliability not produced in today's cars.. My first Montero had over 360k miles before it was wrecked, the only thing you must do is change the oil every 3k and it will run forever.. This truck burns 0 oil and does not blow smoke on start up.. The first gen Montero's are getting harder to find in this condition and i hope it finds a good home..
