Adult owned. Garaged. This Vanagon has always been meticulously maintained and cared for. Recently rebuilt transmission, new clutch. Approximately 50k miles on the rebuilt motor. The original interior is in exceptional condition. The van runs and drives excellent. Motor and Transmission- Recently rebuilt manual 4 speed transmission. At the time of the transmission rebuild a new clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing was installed. Approx 50k miles on the rebuilt motor. Factory power steering. New alternator, battery and muffler. The van has always been meticulously maintained since new. Motor runs great, transmission shift crisp and precise. Steering is tight, brakes are good. Interior- The original interior is in exceptional condition and shows little signs of wear. The front seats are comfortable and have no rips, stains or damage. Headliner is excellent. The front carpets still looks new. The fridge was just repaired/serviced and works great. The fridge runs off propane, 12 volt aux battery, and 120 (shore power). All of the curtains are in excellent condition and have no sun fading or damage. The interior cabinets are in excellent condition. The front seats both swivel. The propane stove works well. I just installed new carpet in the rear camping area. Paint and Body- 100% original paint. Always garaged. This van has no rust. This van has never had any paint work or touch ups. As you can see the original paint still has its beautiful factory shine. This is attributed to years of meticulous care, maintenance, and proper storage. The original paint and body are in excellent condition say for a couple dings, scratches, and minor imperfections. Perfect door and body gaps. All door and body seals are in good condition, no leaks. Very dry van with no cancer. Pop Top- The pop top canvas is new. The canvas was updated to a high quality three window canvas. There is none of the typical mildew stains on the pop top felt headliner. The upper bunk sleeps two. The fiber glass top and gel coat is in excellent original condition as well. Other- New battery. Updated KYB gas shocks front and rear. Nice Wild Cat 27 8.50 r14 heavy duty 6 ply truck rated all terrain tires (90% tread). Newer brakes. New front brake lines. The van also comes with its detachable front windshield curtain. The previous owner took excellent care of this van and always kept it garaged. One of the nicest original survivor Westfalia's on the market. This is a no story original paint low mile survivor that has been well preserved, maintained, and cared for its entire life. This Westfalia is in exceptional original condition. What you see is what you get, unlike the many "restored" vans with many hidden problems and rust lurking under neath there new paint jobs that are currently for sale on the market. The van needs nothing and is ready for cross country driving or camping adventures. ***Please Note*** I have listed this van for auction.
