The Triumph Hurricane, originally commissioned by Don Brown and designed by Craig Vetter, has become one of the most collectible, and most desirable of all the Triumph and BSA three cylinder motorcycles. This particular bike is a very low mileage example that still had the original tires installed when restoration began. Everything is in perfect working order. The body work and paint are in excellent condition. A list of work completed includes: frame and most chassis parts powder coated; tail light, rear grab rail, chain guard, and kick starter re-chromed; Buchanan polished hubs, spokes and nipples; new Boyer Electronic Ignition; carburetors rebuilt and balanced; new fork tubes;new fork seals, new tapered steering roller bearings; top end completely rebuilt (including hardened lash caps and seals on all valves, mushroom adjusters, and copper head and rocker box gaskets); new tires and tubes: new wheel bearings; Motion Pro clutch cable; new wiring harness; new drive chain; alloy top and bottom triple clamps replaced (a must for all Hurricanes) using new castings made of superior material (LM25).
