It's nicely equipped with such options as the "M" Sport package including 5 speed manual transmission, 12 speaker Harmon-Kardon stereo (with 2 subwoofers) and extendable thigh support heated leather front seats. It starts right up, runs and drives just fine but we've listed it as a "Mechanic's Special" because it needs some repairs. #1 The convertible top doesn't go all the way down: It goes through the first stage but stops at the point the panel covering the storage well is supposed to raise. We're not a BMW dealer and didn't diagnose the problem. It could be anything from a sensor to a loose wire to a bad electric motor? #2 The driver's seat upholstery is torn and needs replaced. #3 The passenger's side door mirror is broken off (a visit to a junkyard or eBay or a website like Car-Part is in order?) #4 The "Check Engine" "ABS" and "Traction Control" alerts remain lighted with the engine running. We did NO DIAGNOSIS. #5 There are a number of "bumps and bruises" in the form of nicks and little dents here and there around the car, we've tried to highlight all the worst ones! That's it!
