My goodness!! OK, here she is. I had heard about this bike and that a lady owned it who had bought it brand new and had not ridden it very much. I was able to purchase the bike from her. She bought it brand new in August of 1970 and I have her actual original TITLE to the bike which she has signed off on. The winning bidder will get this original title. Amazing vintage time capsule and if you are a serious collector of old Honda's then you may want to give this bike serious consideration. It is stunning! First of all, the bike runs like a new bike!! It only has 1,556 original miles on it!! AND, it is a matching numbers bike with the original motor and frame and the VIN numbers of the motor and frame are only 25 numbers apart!!! The manufacture date was 1/70. It was sold by Anderson Honda in August of 1970. It starts right up using the electric starter or the kick starter and it purrs so quiet and so clean I am so impressed. Wow! She told me that all she ever did was ride it up to the grocery store and back and put her groceries in the Honda saddle bags. She said when she bought the bike from the dealer, they installed the saddle bags for her. I rode the bike today, 4-28-2017 and a friend of mine was watching me ride it and he said he was so amazed at how smooth it was. The bike shifts, brakes, and stops and corners just as a new bike would, I swear. The exhaust looks like new!!!! The bike still has the ORIGINAL YOKOHAMA tires on it and they are awesome, no weather checking and the tread is like new. I am not exaggerating. Maybe I should slow down here, but I am so excited about how cool this bike is that I am just talking from my heart. I love the bike. Look at the fork ears, they are perfect. The bike has never been down. The gauges are like new. She said she always parked the bike inside her breezeway out of the weather and on carpet. Remember, our riding season here in Michigan is short. Like May-Sept. if you are lucky. So many of the old bikes from Michigan are still preserved as they were when new, as long as the owner took care of them. I am selling the bike to the highest bidder. The bike has a Reserve. The only little thing that I can find wrong woth the bike is that the little rubber insert on the back mud guard is missing, so I am buying one on ebay and including it with the bike.
