Here is a project Model T for sale- this handsome Model T was made in the final year of production,1927, and looks sharp and has many pricey upgrades on it: the desirable Ruckstell rear end, newer Kevlar bands in the transmission, new leatherette roof and plush interior for comfort, upgraded to a 12v system, an electric cooling fan with an on/off switch for whole system (no key needed), finned oil pan and trans cover for better cooling, a Bosch 600 distributor, two external oil lines to keep the oil recirculating, good Firestone tires and wire wheels, a new exhaust manifold, a rebuilt carburetor and more, modern alternator, front and back bumpers, and custom made oak floorboards. I call it a project because it starts, runs and stops but runs rough and needs some adjustments. I personally don't like the improved Ruckstell two speed rear end and never got used to it. The car leaks oil and my wife is tired of a drippy driveway- so someone also needs to button the car up a bit. It also has an electrical gremlin in it- although I can get it up to about 30mph it misses and just doesn't fire the plugs like it should. I am more of a purist and just am not happy with a distributor system, so it needs a new home with someone who wants that Ruckstell and more modern electrical system to tinker with. The car came from an auction and I thought it would grow on me, but it hasn't and I prefer to drive my other T instead. Comes with a clear Iowa title and it is open and ready for you.
