Great K1200S, never abused, never down. Barely ridden but used just enough to avoid disuse issues. The bike has a full set of carbon fiber fairings (Bestem). These are very high quality and pricy, but well constructed. They are a subtle and understated addition. If you like the stock look, these should still work for you. They were not installed to replace damage to the original fairings. People have often asked if this is a factory special edition. The stock fairings are unfortunately not available. Overall condition 9/10 Mechanically totally stock. The bike has been stored inside its whole life. Tires are Michelin pilot road2's, and are in great shape, with an estimated 90%+ life remaining. New battery less than a year ago. Removable BMW luggage is included. These are factory accessories and are very nice but were very pricy. Ideal bike to take on long rides. With 167 HP you will never lack power. In the spirt of being a through as possible in documenting the condition of the bike there are two issues that I would like to mention. First on the very rear of the seat is a 1/2" horizontal rip in the seat cover material. Its been this way for years and has not gotten any worse. Second is that the "Brake" light stays illuminated even while the bike is running. The brakes are fully functional and work fantastic, this may be related to the ABS brake system which is known to be a bit finicky on BMW K bikes. Again been this way for years and never affected the function or riding of the bike. Keep in mind the bike really is in amazing shape for a 9 year old bike and I'm being over the top in documenting these items. This is what I would hope someone else would do if I were considering this bike. Clean title. Cash or wire transfer work best. Checks (including cashiers) must fully clear before delivery. No trades.
