1966 Ford F-100 This is a great, rust free F-100 that runs and drives well. The engine was replaced with a 302 and a C4 transmission. The truck has power brakes (4 wheel drum) and power steering with a Ford 9” rear end. Everything on the truck works, including all lights, electrical components like wipers, heater and CD player. The carburetor is recently rebuilt along with a full ignition system tune up, including a new ignition module (Ford Duraspark ignition). Tires need to be replaced. The tread is fine and they all hold air without any excessive leaks, but they are old and weather checked and I wouldn’t drive on the interstate for very far with them. The windshield and weather stripping is cracked and needs replaced. The speedometer seems to be hooked up, but it isn’t working. Finally, the previous owner welded the tailgate shut with 4 small tack welds on the outside. I never hauled anything with this, so I never ground the welds to open the tailgate. Overall, this is a great truck! Very rust free and running and driving well. It was next in my project line, but I came across another Ford pickup (1936) and my wife says one project is enough, so unfortunately this one has to go. I don’t have a reserve set for this auction, just looking for a great home that sees the potential this truck holds!
