Vehicle Detail
2005 Toyota Camry XLE 4 Cylinder Reparable The XLE Model is the one with all the bells and whistles, essentially the Lexus with the Toyota badge. My wife bought this car used with about 80K miles on it about 7 years ago. It's been a great car for her long commute, then my long commute. It has been trouble free, just regular maintenance. Then the car got passed down to my teenage daughter and I dropped the full coverage. Last fall it got hit by a deer on the left side, we had a body shop replace the door but not paint it and pull the dent out of the fender. The car got new tires in January and new struts in February. Then a couple of weeks ago she pulled out in front of someone. Damage to both doors, fender and the rocker, plus the wheel is crooked on the right side. We thought about fixing it, but a replacement car came to us for almost nothing, so now we are selling it. It does drive, but as you can guess the alignment is way off and should probably be fixed to make is safe, or use for parts. The car is available for inspection, most evenings after 6 and the weekend. The car actually has 232,000 miles on it! After looking at the title, I saw we bought this car with 60,000 miles on it (not 80K). Also after looking at the accident history report, I forgot to mention that I rear ended someone a few years back, that got fixed under an insurance claim were the hood, headlight, grill and bumper was replaced and painted. The body shop did a great job on that one, the car looked better than before. Also note in this and other accidents, no airbags were deployed.
