Vehicle Detail
1972 Suzuki RV90J Rover I rescued this old girl from the depths of a storage unit right here in Michigan. I cleaned the plug, added some fresh gas, and she fired right up! I gave her a quick bath and what you see is the end result. The bike starts on the second or third kick and sounds great. It shifts through all the gears and seems mechanically sound. Given that, I would still recommend an oil change, tune up, etc. before riding the bike on a regular basis. Brakes work fine. Chain and sprockets show some wear and will need replaced at some point in the future. The lights do not work but the bulbs look good so I'm assuming it needs a new battery for those to function. The original tires are in great condition and hold air. Cosmetically this unit is very clean and complete. Unfortunately, it is missing the factory tire pump and tool kit that came with it but I do have the air hose and owner's manual. Other than that, the only other thing I see missing is one of the reflectors from the front fork. The grips, mirrors, and seat cover are all original. The handlebars are bent as seen in the pictures but could probably be straightened. The rear fender is bent a little and has some small cracks where it appears that someone drilled a hole and mounted something to it. The tail light lens is cracked. Aside from these things, this is a very nice example of a 45 year old bike. I do not have a title for this bike but will provide a Bill of Sale written on one of the State of Michigan's forms. I can also have it notarized if your state requires it. I prefer local pick up with cash but can work with your shipping company, etc. for transportation. If paying by PayPal, I would ask that your cover the fees involved. Payment in full and pick up is expected in 7 days unless other arrangements have been previously made. I strive to give an accurate description of all my auctions and I believe my feedback attests to that but if there are any questions you may have, or wish to see any other specific pictures, please don't hesitate to ask.
