Vehicle Detail

1999 Dodge Dakota SLT Truck 182,000 miles 3.9L V6 2WD Automatic No Reserve. Known issues:1. Leaking Transmission Fluid - It seems to leak a quart every week or two. I just keep it full by adding some in every so often and checking the levels. It's been doing this for 6 months or more. The trans doesn't slip if you keep it full but this obviously needs fixed right away. Could be transmission pan gasket ($15) or could be an expensive transmission issue, I haven't tried to investigate it.2. Passenger's Window - glass slides down. Needs fixed.3. Gas gauge is random - Fix or reset the tripometer at fill up, to track its need for gas.4. Some Rust - as shown.5. Have seen small amount of odorless smoke coming from A/C vents - it happened twice a month ago and hasn't since. I just kept driving and it went away both times. I don't know if it was exhaust or somehow related to the trans fluid leaking. May happen again, I don't know.6. Water collects in drivers side floor when it rains heavy. Probably needs cheap door seal replaced.7. A/C works at least some, but Heat does not seem to be hot.8. Hood release lever in the truck is hard to open.Repairs:1. I put the last 60K miles on it, a good amount of out-of-state highway miles, and have had a few repairs (water pump and belt, starter, windshield, steering components, battery, brakes, rotors, etc) and all regular maintenance done. In the past 6 months the only repairs I've had to do is replace the drivers front wheel bearing and the distributor cap/ignition wire. It still sounds a little slow to crank but never fails to start with one key turn. Probably the corrosion on the battery terminals. Oil has been changed every 3000 miles.Motor sounds good to me. I'm no mechanic, though. It never overheats, never stalls. I drive this truck around town, but if you buy it you are agreeing to repair it, or only use it for parts, I can't recommend anyone drive it as-is. It needs cleaned some, too.I am buying a new truck now and have no room or need for this anymore.Buyer responsible for pickup. Although it's technically driveable, I'd recommend towing this vehicle to your destination because of the listed issues. I've tried to be extremely thorough but I'm happy to answer any additional questions or take more pictures/video if requested. I've set it up to donate 10 percent of the sale price to charity, so don't feel bad putting an extra bid or two in! You must have at least 1 positive feedback to bid or I will cancel your bid. Don't waste mine or your time.
