It has been garaged and regularly maintained since I’ve owned it. There is nothing I could say to top the reams of glowing reviews the E46 5-speed manual has garnered over the years like these: "An easy car to drive fast; you pretty much know what it's going to do." Car and Driver, March 2004 The E46 is the most desirable BMW model of the last few decades - it is simple, fun, reliable, had a small footprint, looked good and is easy to modify. The clutch on this vehicle is almost new and with minimal use. The interior is terrific with little sign of wear. The paint is in great condition for its age, apart from some scrapes (see below). It is supremely fun to drive and there is nothing that connects you to the road as effectively as a BMW manual transmission.
