Selling a 2001 Ford Excursion that has been driven by me or my wife since it was new. This vehicle was purchased by the company that I managed as my company vehicle. I left the company due to a health issue, at which time I purchased the vehicle for my personal use. I first titled the Excursion in Texas and then later changed it to an Arkansas title, Which explains the 3 owners listed in Carfax. 99.9% of the mileage is highway miles The vehicle is loaded with all of the options available on 2001 Ford Excursion Limited including front and rear Air Conditioner and Heater, rear bumper sensors and 3RD row seating(the seat has never been used and has been sealed with plastic wrap and stored, see photos) Any repairs or parts replacement have been done by certified repair Facilities. Since 2007, all repairs and service have been done by Brian’s Truck Shop-Lead Hill, AR, a nationally known Ford only, Diesel Service and repair facility .(870-422-3673). The engine cranks and runs great, does not use any oil between changes. There is a custom Chip installed and highway mileage is between 18-20 MPG. The transmission has been serviced every 50 to 70,000 miles The main repairs consist of replacement of injectors, replacement of high pressure oil pump, replacement of all steering ball joints, etc. Tires are Michelin LTX M/S2, 265/75/16 used less than 10,000 miles Windshield is brand new. The injectors were replaced about 3 years ago. The high pressure oil pump was replaced by a Ford dealer in San Antonio, Tx in 2007 and a new gasket kit for high pressure oil pump was was replaced last year to correct a leak. The transmission was replaced at 55000 mile by Bob Tomes Ford in McKinney, tx with a new factory unit, not a rebuilt. Transmission has been serviced every 50k to 70k with no problems since....Any work on the truck since 2007, including transmission service has been done by Brian's Truck Shop. Brian works only on Ford diesels and custom builds a transmission for the Ford Diesel that has a lifetime warranty (Brian is familiar with this vehicle if you care to contact him (Brianstruckshop,com or 870-422-3673) Other items replaced include rear end rebuilt due to an oil leak, new OEM steering wheel due to leather stretched on original, front hubs serviced, brakes, rotors, calipers I have always tried to replace damaged or worn parts with OEM parts on this and any other vehicles that I have owned over the years.
