This is a comprehensive and detailed listing for my 1988 BMW E28 535I with a 5 speed transmission. The car comes with the last 16+ years of service records, original service manual and booklets. It has been owned by the last owner for the last 16+ years. The car is not perfect, however, with a little bit of TLC can be one nice ride. PS: Odometer is stuck on 198,000. The good: - Clear title and drivable - Car has passed the mandatory state inspection per NC - Car is registered and property taxes are paid - Body is straight with minimal dings ( small one on the driver side) - No rust anywhere ( I checked all over the car) - Engine is very strong and is solid, not burning oil, no miss-fire - Electric seats - Has the original radio What needs work: - Changing the differential - U joints on the driveshaft - Rear CV axles - Front lower and upper control arms + ball joints - Trailing arm - AC compressor leaking - Shift linkage needs tightening - Front rotors - Check engine light flashing but engine is solid - Small crack on the reverse light lens The E28 is an amazing car and they are getting harder and harder to find.
