Up for auction is a 1983 bmw r65 airhead. This is a one owner motorcycle. With a Purchased new Title. The original owner quit riding it due to a tree branch hitting the back of it and denting gas tank and bending the rear detachable frame and seat bracket. I bought this to be a project with its such low miles, but this is more than I can handle right now with other projects. It looks to be in decent shape. Motor turns over with rolling the back tire. I cant get it out of gear but haven't messed with it much., But it is pretty weathered from sitting outside for a while and the starter button and the on off switch are broke on it. I took the back section off including the seat and rear turn and tail lights to see if it was the only thing bent and seems to be. This bike sat outside for a while I don't know how long you can tell by first picture on how green it is. I just wanted to make sure I told this is a fixer upper and not a jump on and ride. It will need some parts that were bent with tree limb. This is a pretty cool old bike. Could be fixed to be a bobber or scrambler or put back to original. Any questions just ask.
