The pictures tell most of the story, here is the rest: This is a NON-SMOKING, PET-FREE, ONE OWNER TRADE-IN from our body shop. We sold it new and have complete (but very little due to the mileage) service history from our shop. It's the EX-L model which means it has most of the "toys" associated with a top of the line sedan such as blind spot and backup cameras, heated perforated leather seats (with power seats on both sides in front) satellite radio, USB ports and heated mirrors with a built-in wide-angle mirror on the driver's side. It's been rear-ended in an accident. As you can see from the photos, whatever hit it was higher off the ground and went right over the top of the bumper beam into the sheet metal of the deck lid and rear quarter panels. The estimate from our shop using all new Honda parts at retail plus 7.5% sales tax and our labor at $48 to $110 per hour plus 7.5% sales tax is $17,074.19. If you spent a little time on a junkyard directory website like car-part dot com you could probably find many of the parts or a whole rear clip for a lot less money and maybe even in the right color! The repair estimate is well under the value of the vehicle so it is NOT a salvage title and won't have a rebuilt title. It runs and drives perfectly well but you wouldn't want to try that because some law enforcement officer would be obliged to give you a ticket and impound the car for no rear lights or safety bumper.
