Up for auction is a 1963 corvette convertible barn find with the original 327 numbers matching motor and transmission.The original wheels are still on the car but I don't have the hubcaps. The car had fire damage from rear end collision it had in 1965 and has been in storage for over 50 years.The rear bumpers and valance are still attached to the car and I do have the front bumper.The fire damage was contained only to the rear of the car and not the interior.The seats,carpeting,dash and console are all intact with no fire damage but are in deteriorated condition.Someone removed the gauges and radio but all the wiring harness appears to be intact. The front firewall and all stainless window and door tim is all intact.The glass is missing from the passenger door, window vent and front windshield. The photos show 50 years of dust and grime with the original paint on the parts of the car that aren't damaged .THE CAR HAS A CLEAR PA TITLE WITH THE ORIGINAL VIN AND TRIM TAGS STILL INTACT ON THE CAR.The car is a 3 speed manual. The metal frame to the convertible top is in good shape and all intact but the canvas top needs replaced. The car is in very rough condition and will need a complete restoration and a new frame or donor car due to the car being stored in a damp building. This car would be a great start for a 1963 restomod or a #'s matching car due to the fact the original motor is still in the cat and should be rebuildable...The car is being sold in AS-IS condition with no reserve.
