NO RESERVE… Adult Owned 1998 Range Rover SE 4.0 with 127K miles. I have owned this Range Rover for 4 years. I recently bought a pick-up and am not driving this any longer. It is in good to very good condition and reliable for this era of Land Rover / Range Rover. I drive this on weekends without hesitation for 200-300 miles at a time. It has the Range Rover rugged looks and has been off road (hunting club roads, national forest roads) , but has not been abused. It has been in Alabama and South Georgia, so rust is not an issue. The finish is an NATO OLIVE Drab vinyl wrap with a very nice detail. The Gallery photo was taken in sunlight and shows the color. The others were taken on an overcast day. Please see from the photos that the trim, lights, moldings and door handles were removed so there are no seams in the vinyl. The door panels and trim panels were removed to paint door jambs, underside of hood, upper engine compartment, inside lift gate, tail gate, gas filler door, etc. lack so the underlying factory color (Oxford Blue) does not show against the Olive body and “Peanut-Butter” interior. This gives a professional finished appearance. It can be re-wrapped or repainted any color in the future and retain a finished look.The interior is in very good cosmetic condition, though not perfect it has held up very well for its age and is intact. Windows, locks, sunroof, mirrors, seats and garage door opener all work well. Previous owner had headliner replaced. It has an aftermarket Kenwood stereo with bluetooth for phone. The engine is the 4.0 liter. It does not have any overheating or head gasket issues. The transmission and transfer case both shift as expected. The running gear is strong and shifts and pulls correctly in both high and low range.Front pads and rotors were raplaced last year.No warning lights or ABS or Traction control lights at all!The alternator was replaced about 2 years ago and the batttery was replaced 3 months ago. The suspension has been converted to coil springs. I have a set of 4 Terra Firma mediums and 4 Ol’ Man Emu 764/761s for the vehicle. The lift is about 2.5” from standard.Presently it has the OMEs in front and Terra Firmas in the rear for a softer more controlled ride on the highway. However, It will not ride as soft as a new RR or any with the airbags suspension. I will include the other springs with the auction in case buyer wants to change.The tires are Goodyear Dura-Trac All Terrain 245-75-16 on the factory rim with about 10K miles on them. I have two other matching rims with same size tire but different brand tires that will include with the auction. While this is much nicer than comparable Range Rovers or Discoveries of this era, it is an 18 year British vehicle and does have minor issues.The transmission does leak about a nickel-sized spot after a 100 mile round trip. (It is British.) It does not leak to the point that I have had to add fluid since a fluid change. The cruise control does not work. I haven’t attempted to cure, so I don’t know if this is electrical or a vacuum issue.I have recently replaced the blend motors for the HVAC. The motors do work. The hot and cold work as they should and the side to side temp controls work as expected. However presently the AC blows from the floor and defroster. It appears the right side flap is stuck. They remote key fob has recently stopped working. Please note the wrap is 3 years old and see the photos that the wrap does have “bubbling” at the recessed body lines. This is not really noticeable from 20 feet away. I have factory luggage rack and factory mud guards that are not installed but will be included in the sale. Also included are 2 extra wheels that are silver that match these. Please view photos and feel free to ask any questions.
