Vehicle Detail
1965 Mustang Fastback. This is the cleanest 64-70 Mustang I've ever seen. Been in the Dallas area it's whole life and 98% rust free. This was an abandoned restoration that was basically a barn find. Been off the road for over 20 years. Body: As stated, 98% rust free. Floors, inner fenders, front and rear frame rails still have the factory Dynasty Green paint on them. Trunk is perfect except the drain plug hole on the drivers side. Fender and hood could not be found so Ford replacements were used. Only other rust is one corner of a door and lower drivers quarter damage from backing into something. That's it!!!! Doors open and shut(with the windows up) like new, no slamming required. Driveline: Looks to have never been removed and all stock and original. Car runs and drives but has been off the road for over 20 years. Interior: Seems to be all there. Dash pad is really nice. How about that psychedelic shag carpet fold down rear seat!! I would have liked to party with that guy. Seat belts are included but not pictured. All in all a restoration dream car. This thing is ready for body work and paint. Car is sold as is so please ask as many questions as you like. I did not go down to the Ford dealership and order this yesterday so please have realistic expectations on a 51 year old car. Door tag reads: 63A D D6 15A 61 26 5F09T399910. Clear Texas Title in hand. Thanks for lookingOn Dec-12-16 at 16:58:42 PST, seller added the following information: Just to answer a few of the questions I've been getting.Car runs, stops and drives for transportation.Has new battery, alternator, voltage regulator, points, distributor, rotor, spark plugs and wires.Owner said a/c was working when disassembly was started for restoration. None of the lines have been taken apart and unit is still sealed as it has been for 50+ years.
