This very rare 435HP SALEEN Mustang is absolutely incredible. Don't look at Ford Mustang to value this car on NADA. This car is recognized as a Saleen in their "Classic Car" valuation and is valued over $43,000 at high retail. With only ONE previous owner and having been driven only 8,582 miles over the last decade, this SALEEN is truly a collectors item and deserves that valuation. All of the paint is original. This SALEEN started out life as a Mustang GT and traveled to SALEEN for a very thorough performance upgrade. Along with the standard performance upgrades, this SALEEN was optioned with upgraded chrome alloy wheels, HID headlights and a maxgrip street differential. In all, the MSRP was $57,953! (And we have the original window sticker!) Total production of the S281 was 1,640 in 2006, only 583 were supercharged coupes. You'll notice this SALEEN was production number 1181 of the 1,640 total S281. The original owner replaced the exhaust manifolds and valve covers with ford racing parts but retained the original pieces. These bolt on changes can easily be put back to factory for you if you like, and we would be happy to do it for you prior to taking delivery. That said, we love the look of those blue Ford racing valve covers under the hood and the extra growl in the exhaust. Besides these small changes, the car is completely original.
