Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 2004 Honda Odyssey. I bought this car with 100K miles on it in 2012. The car had been driven in Southern California until 2014 Sep and in Pennsylvania from Sep. 2014 until now. I have been taking extra care of this car. Here are the maintenance/repairs that I have done on this car. Engine oil/filter changes: every 2k-3k miles (Yes it is true) Air filter/cabin filter replaced: every year Transmission oil drain/refill with Honda genuine DW-1: with every engine oil changes Factory transmission filter changed: 2015 summer Inline Magnefine filter installed for tansmission: 2016 summer A,B & C transmission solenoid cleaned: 2016 summer Both transmission pressure switches replaced: 2016 summer Both front stabilizer bar links replaced: 2016 summer Both front stabilizer link bushings replaced: 2016 summer Rear brake pads replaced: 2016 summer 6 (all) ignition coils and 6 (all) spark plugs replaced: 2016 summer Power steering fluid flushed with genuine Honda fluid and power steering pump repaired: Oct. 2016 Dash board clock light replaced: Nov. 2016 All 4 tires replaced with Premium Michelin tires: 2014 summer (since then car drive only a little more than 10K miles) Headlight bulb replaced: 2015 winter Engine mount repaired: 2014 Sep Timing belt and water pump: 2012 fall (at 106K) Battery: 2012 Dec with 5 year warranty Passenger side power window regulator replaced: 2012 fall A New mp3 player/radio installed (you can plug in your USB): 2013 summer Both rear shocks replaced: 2012 summer Both rear vent window repaired: 2015 fall Brake fluid flushed: 2012 summer And etc (I can’t remember all) Car repair is one of my hobbies and I have done these repairs/maintenance by all myself except the timing belt and engine mount jobs. However, this car still has some problems. Despite of my effort to keep the transmission alive, the transmission is now experiencing slipping from 3 weeks ago, specially when going uphill at low speed. The slipping happens in 2nd to 3rd gear shift in most cases. Finally, an engine light came on two days ago. It is still drivable but I wouldn’t recommend to drive it without fixing the transmission. You will need to tow this vehicle. Driver side power sliding door needs a small manual lifting to open but no problem to close. Passenger side one works perfectly. There was a paint peeling on the rear driver side panel. I did manual paint job 2015 summer. It is not that much noticeable but the paint recently started cracking and I do not know how ugly this would be next year (see photos). Dings here and there as it has normal age wear. I am trying to be as honest as possible in the description. Hope that this description gives you factual evaluation of this car. Emission/state inspection valid until Sep/2017 I have some unused engine/tansmission/power steering oils, filters, wipers, headlight bulbs, repair manual plus any extra parts for this car. I can throw those in this transaction for free. Normal 0 0 2 false false false EN-US KO X-NONE
