Up for bidding is our KITT car, a 1983 Trans Am. We acquired this car from my wife's cousin in Oregon about 2 years ago, who bought it new. It is completely rust-free, as one might expect of an Oregon car, and the mileage is actual. They are in their 70s, as are we, and were downsizing. Like them, we found we don't use it enough to justify keeping it. The paint is 99% factory original, the interior is like new and all glass is perfect. Tires have 90% tread remaining. You may drive this car home reliably anywhere in the country. It has the 305 V8 with 4-barrel carb, automatic transmission, power steering and brakes, and air conditioning ( the blower motor is not working). It starts easily and runs just like it should. Only one other minor thing: the driver's seatbelt does not retract properly, but overall you will not be disappointed in this car. I have the black plastic wheel covers; just thought the car looked better without them. The winning bidder will pick up the car at my home in eastern Nebraska; alternately I will work with your shipper for pick up here. Please note that there is a $500.
