Vehicle Detail
ABSOLUTELY NO INTERNATIONAL BUYERS, NO EXCEPTIONS. A classic in very good condition. Used as a daily driver. Drives great at any speed. 223k miles. Almost brand new Yokohama tires with Discount tire warranty (transferable). Alignment done after tires were installed. New Bosch alternator. New transmission cooling lines, new pinion seal, new oil level sender, new ft flex disc and shift bushing. Upgraded muffler hooks (metal covered in rubber). Synthetic Mobil 1 oil. Interior is in great shape, no cracks or discoloration anywhere. Leather looks very nice and has a bit of wear and tear on the passenger seat. The leather on the driver's seat has some more wear then the pasenger side (see photos). Very nice privacy tint. Glass is clear and free of cracks. Windshield is almost flawless. Upgraded radio. Sunroof and cruise control work very well. Radio antenna works (the motor) but it needs the actual antenna replaced. Right rear window does not work. Needs A/C compressor and dryer replaced (diagnosed after dye was inserted in Freon charge to pinpoint the issue with the A/C and why it only blows hot air). The parts run around $600 for OEM retail (quoted by the Mercedes only shop where the car was serviced). It requires 4h of labor according to the MB shop. Belts just starting to crack - OEM part is around $45 with 1h labor. Fuel pumps are seeping (car runs fine and this is up to you to replace or not depending on how much you drive) - parts OEM are aroundn$500 and labor is 1h. No leaks while being parked. Lower ball joints could use replacing but it is not needed immediately. OEM parts are around $118, 4h of labor. If you do not need the A/C and drive the car very little, all the above mentioned maintenance can wait. If you can install the parts yourself and do not buy them retail or buy them used, it will actually cost a lot less to address the maintenance described above. Engine and transmission run strong. No leaks, car does not shake even at high speeds. It feels like a tank and it is very comfortable. Car has been detailed and is ready for a new owner. Protective coating applied to shield the paint and make it easier to clean the vehicle. This is a coating that can be washed off the car. It is not a ceramic coating that requires petroleum to remove. - 1 key only - comes with original owner's manual, paint care guide and window sticker ($61,210) - cannot open doors with the key from passenger side, only from the driver's side - odometer works, RPM indicator does not work. Clock works - as far as I know, this has been an Arizona car and it shows, the body is in excellent shape - the Autocheck reports states minor accident on 04/17/2010, I do not know what that is. I had the car inspected when I purchased it and it has no evidence of damage - brakes are very responsive and a light tap on the pedal is enough to engage them. Parking break works great - car does not pull left or right when breaking - a commercial ozone machine ran in the vehicle for 1h. No odors are present, at least none that I can detect. I did not put any air fresheners in it either. - carpet is nice and thick, did not wear unevenly. - engine starts right up. Idles great and does not shake, indicating engine mounts are good - transmission shifts smoothly, does not jerk the car when putting it in R or D, indicating transmission mounts are good - headrests in the front do not respond to the electronic controls on the doors. They can be adjusted by hand though. - passenger side sun visor is a bit fragile. The lights for the courtesy mirrors work on the driver side only - sound is amazing, very crisp, great mids and highs, base is a bit weak but at least no distortion at higher volumes. 1 CD at a time and no cassette tape. The tint is not dark to the point of not being able to see in the car from the outside. In photo 1, it shows darker because of the angle of the sun. Please refer to photos 4,5 & 9 to get a complete description of the level of tint. Buyer responsible for arranging and paying for shipping. If you want additional photos, message me and I will include them in my response. Sold AS IS, with no implied or expressed warranty. Clean and clear title in my name. Serious buyers only.
