1998 BMW Z3 2.8 L 6-Cylinder Convertible No Reserve! This is a really fun car to drive and with the heated seats turned on, you can drive with the top down in Autumn and Spring. This is the faster of the 2 options sold in 1998 and it's quick and handles well. It comes loaded with features: automatic transmission, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, heated leather seats, ABS, traction control, cruise control, fog lights. I purchased this car as certified, pre-owned from a BMW dealership in May 2000 with 5,000 miles on the car, so I have owned it for 16 of its 18 years. The car drives great and I've never had any major problems with the engine. For the last 4 years this has been my spare car because I have young kids and needed a minivan. Although I kept up with oil changes and inspection (the car passed VA inspection in May), I have neglected to fix some things as they broke. As I wrote in the "condition" section, Automatic convertible top motor is disengaged so top must be manually raised and lowered. The nose of the car has a dent and there are some rust spots on the hood (see pics). Paint is peeling on the trunk (see pics). The car has a leak - probably needs to have new seals / gaskets installed. A/C is broken. A couple of months ago the radio and passenger seat electricity suddenly stopped working. Steering wheel leather is peeling. So, it runs great, but could benefit from some TLC.
