1981 VW Vanagon camper in Assuan brown with tan interior. It currently has 212k miles on the odometer and 12k on a rebuilt air cooled 2.0 liter boxer engine. This van has the full Westfalia camping package with pop-top, sink, stove, fridge. I have installed the very comfortable GL seats, with armrests in place of the cheap stock seats and the smaller GL steering wheel to allow leg clearance for the larger GL seats. (I do have the stock seats if the buyer wants them) The pop-top canvas is original, and is still very useable and not dry rotted it just has a couple small repairs. The original woodgrain cabinets, curtains, stove top, burners and AC/DC/LP fridge have been very well kept, clean and work well. The engine was rebuilt at 200k and at that time was fitted with a new Weber carb retrofit kit replacing the factory fuel injection. This is a very reliable setup and it works well, and has good power. The heater boxes and tubes are all hooked up and functioning. The manual 4 speed transmission and clutch function as they should, no grinds clunks or growls. The paint is respectable, but not perfect and has a few chips here and there. Comes with the factory owners manual and some service records. This is a clean, rust free southern Vanagon that has not been driven in the northeastern snow. The floors underneath looks great, no holes or corrosion anywhere. I have tried to be as thorough as I could in the description, but I may have missed something.
