1964 Ford Galaxie 500 "Samoan Coral Hardtop" ENJOY OUR VIDEO TEST DRIVE OF THIS SPECIAL '64 FORD GALAXIE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxm2v7jL6m8 VIDEO TEST DRIVE ABOVE This is a beautiful 1964 Ford Galaxie in hard to find Samoan Coral. This eye grabbing color is complimented with off-white interior and a black vinyl hardtop. This is a car that can be driven and shown, just a gorgeous Galaxie. Be sure to play the high quality video above of this car up-close and ENJOY. FEATURES Samoan Coral Color Off-White Interior - Bucket Seating - Center Console 289 cubic Inch V8 Power Steering AM Pushbutton Radio Whitewall Tires & XL Spinner HubcapsWhitewall Fender Skirts Black Vinyl Top Clock "Swift, smooth fastback look that has its years ahead in the styling race - gotta love those Ford Signature Jet Tube tail lights!" Incredible, shiny paint job with no overspray, runs, waves, dings, dents, etc. All of the body panels line up perfectly - doors THUD shut. Chrome and stainless display briliantly. All of the glass appears to be the original Carlite and glistens like new - light wiper scratch on passenger side of the windshield, does not justify replacement. Windows all roll up & down smoothly. Gauges and lamps function properly. 289 V8 - Automatic Transmission. Power Steering. Starts right up, choke engages properly, shifts, stops, smoothly. No mysterious shakes, shimmies, pulling, etc - see drive video. The engine compartment is clean and detailed. The core support is straight and true, the inner fenders and firewall sheetmetal is also in great shape. Welcome back to 1964. It looks as though the beautiful XL shell bucket seat / console interior came from an XL donor car at some time. Vin code is 66, indicative of a non XL car. Quite an upgrade - love those sculpted, polished trim door panels! Front seats could possibly be re-dyed, but I prefer that survivor, patina look myself. Has the XL spinner hubcaps on matching whitewall radial tires. Cracking visible on the spinner of the right rear cap. Also has fender skirts, see pictures. Some folks prefer it with, some without the skirts - they do seem to really change the car's characteristics - I prefer being able to see the spinner caps without the skirts obscuring the view. The odometer shows 90K, title will read "exempt" due to age, and is being sold as such. I have no documentation regarding mileage history. I do not have a "buy it now" price and would prefer to let the auction play out. Check out Southwest.com for reasonable flights into Dallas Love Field and Uship.com for competitive shipping rates. Texas residents but pay applicable tax, title, and lisc. I'm not much of an emailer, so feel free to call me with any questions you may have : Bobby Peterson (214) 770-0437
