This 1949 Chevy 5 window Pick up truck is a very nice RARE survivor! it has a really nice chrome grill, hood ornament, Roof sunvisor, and the interior dash and door panel have been painted steel gray. The doors open and shut and the windows go up and down. the door glass has cracks (easy replacement 30 dollars a window jim carter trucks) The split rim wheels have been replaced with modern 8 lug wheels and driver quality tires. The 216 engine runs great with no knocks smoke or misses. We did a complete tune up when we got it but the choke on the carb should be adjusted. We noticed the radiator was clogged so we replaced it with a new aluminum radiator. The 6 volt system was bypassed to a 12 volt (original wire harness still there but needs to be rehooked up to take it back 6 volt) The truck drives down the road as the video shows and shifts all gears like it should. The king pins should be replaced as the steering was stiff ($75 dollars for kingpins and bushings jim carter trucks) It had a new master cylinder installed, the front brake is hooked up and and stop the truck fine for our country roads, but rears (all there) should be done. The original wood in the box was rotted so I replaced it with a sheet of plywood. The floors on the truck are VERY SOLID and the seat is the original seat and is in good usable shape as pictured.

This is a truck that is a great start should you want to restore it to a 40k level or tinker with it here and there and use it the way it is. The title matches the vin plate and ready for you to register. I do not want to overcall it or undercall it, let the pics and video tell the story. Items will not be available for pickup or shipping until full payment is received and cleared by our local bank. Buyer has 7 days to pay in full either by bank wire transfer, mailing check, or cash in person. Customer has 30 days from end of sale to pick up or make arrangments with me to have the vehicle stored. All items are sold AS IS with no warranty of any kind unless specified in the ad. We reserve the right to remove any listing due to on site sales. We also require that bidders internationally or with feedback score of zero contact us. Fee and Tax Information:

Customer pays sales tax and registration in the state they are from, we do not collect it. The deposit is non refundable, by backing out of the deal, you willingly forfeit the deposit. If no contact is made within 24 hours, we reserve the right to relist the vehicle, sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder, or sell it otherwise. please remember you are bidding on a used vehicle and must understand that there will be normal wear and tear on the vehicle. We do our best to show you every fault we can find but somethings things may go unseen to us. A 20 dollar per a day storage fee will be added to the final price if the vehicle is not picked up within 30 days of the auction end as that is what it cost me to store the vehicles. please contact me if you need more than 30 days prior to bidding.
