You are bidding on a very straight and rust free* 1972 Volvo 1800E with a manual transmission and overdriveThis car is originally from a dry western state and is rust free with the minor exception of some rust starting on the drivers outer rocker panel. The car has has always been garaged. A repaint was done in the past as the car was originally white, the paint is ok but not show quality. The car is extremely straight but has had some filler in the drivers rear fender and has a small crack, other than that I haven't seen any obvious repairs.The floors, frame, trunk, wheel wheels, inner rockers are rust free, this is a very solid car. The grille ring is in excellent condition and all stainless steel on the car is very good. Bumpers are also in excellent condition.The interior is in excellent original condition, the dash and steering wheel are crack free. The headliner is in good shape.The glass is all in very good condition and includes a factory rear window defogger.The fuel injected engine cranks and will start with a shot of starting fluid but may possibly need a fuse for or relay for the fuel pump. The previous owner was in the process of replacing the heater fan when he became ill, the heater box is out of the car (and missing at the moment previous owner looking for it) I suspect the fuel pump relay is not grounded since it is not bolted down at the moment.The engine has had the cam and lifters replaced as well as the clutch and pressure plate.
