If you are still looking at this listing, you know that the 1999 e300 turbo-diesels are great collector cars and fast as all get out (for a diesel) I've been wanting to restore this baby to it's original shape, but it looks like that is not gonna happen as the wife wants the car out of the driveway and into the hands of a Mercedes-Benz lover that has the time and talent to bring her back to her glory. - I have all the service records for her going back to 2002, when I bought it with 50K on the odometer -- I put almost 200K on it and loved every minute of it. The wife wanted a Passat diesel and look where that got us :-) I'm not a pussy whipped dude, but the wife wants the car off the property -- I understand -- whatever -- come and get it -- or i'll help with transport arrangements. Interior is in good shape- black on black, fairly new tires, new brake pads etc. New Starter -- New Glow plugs -- Starts right up -- check engine light comes on, as does glow plug light --maybe just needs to be reset. Hard to find Black on Black interior -- 30 mpg - these cars go for half a million miles or more. Various nicks and dings, note right rear dent, some body rot around wheel wells and sunroof -- not sure if it works properly. Car starts right up, new battery, new starter, tires are in great shape as are pads and rotors, car has been sitting for a while, A/C needs charging.
