I have had this street rod since 1990, always kept it in a garage and have cautiously driven it in parades and taken it to car shows, off and on. I am moving to Florida and downsizing my life!!! A battery recharge and it will fire up and the exhaust note will get the adrenaline bubbling! Ridiculously overpowered and dangerous if pushed beyond its limits, it is a real fun ride with burbling open exhaust pipes and it turns lots of heads on the road. Although it is NOT at all a show quality build, it has won some trophies (Oldest car in show & crowd favorite). It has a nice traveled patina with attractive proportions of balance and stance and an exaggeration of form and function from the motorcycle wheels up front, to the big V8 engine, to the 15-inch tires in the rear. The engine is a Chevy big block, 454 as I am told(never checked numbers), with a 400 turbo automatic transmission and a narrowed and chromed Jaguar rear end with swing axles and inboard disc brakes. It has been registered for 26 years in the state of New Jersey as an antique vehicle and possesses QQ plates. It is not a professional build and has some short-comings, such as the installed gauges were never hooked up to work and the chromed parts are not like new and the engine uses some oil, but this is not a daily driver and it will take you to and from car shows and for a Sunday afternoon ride of excitement and head turning fun without any problem and it is legal. It is insured through Hagerty Classic Car Insurance. Although it has a 1922 title, it is primarily made up of T-Bucket kit car parts, fiberglass body, and boxed frame and suspension components. You can't build a copy of this car for the asking price! It is ready to see your care and upkeep or improvements or upgrades if that is your objective, and it is being SOLD AS IS.
