Vehicle Detail
Up for Auction is a beautiful Cherry Red 1998 Grand Prix GTP Coupe. This Automobile is a true Collector. Very Rare to find Supercharged GTP in a 2 door Coupe, and this one is loaded with every option! This car has 194,000 miles but is very sound and very good looking and mechanically strong. The 3.8 supercharged engine is strong and extremely reliable. My daughter has used it to go back and forth to college the past 2 years, but got a new car this year and I need room. I love this car and want someone that will appreciate how rare, fun, and cool this car is. There were very few GTP Coupes made, and this car is consistently listed as one of the top 10 collectible Pontiacs. This one has every option and is ready to go! I will try to remember all of the options and list them and will list any issues.Options:3.8 Liter Supercharged V-6Leather InteriorHeads Up DisplayGlass SunroofPower Windows and LocksHeated Driver SeatCD PlayerDual Climate ControlSteering Wheel Audio ControlsPower Driver SeatPremium Sound System Issues:There is a crack in the windshield along the bottom and up the passenger side, and will likely want to be changed. There is a spot on the paint below the gas fill that has been repaired, but there is a small rough area that may need to be re-done in the future. There is a recall that I am taking care of this week. The front valve cover is on a recall that causes a small oil leak. They notified me last month that they have the new valve covers ready and I am taking it in this week to have that changed. Other than that, I do not think it has any other issues. Recent Repairs:Over the past two years, I have replaced:New Water PumpNew Fuel PumpNew Fuel Pump TransistorNew Brake PadsNew Shocks all Around This car runs strong and smooth. No major issues with this car. No error codes or lights. These engines are very reliable and this one is a very good car. Whether you want a collector or just one of the coolest Grand Prix's made, this will be an excellent car to cherish! Sad that Pontiac is no longer, and these cars are a classic example of one of the best cars Pontiac ever made! Bid with confidence, you are getting a great, good looking car!! Don't hesitate to ask any questions. I will do my best to respond and answer everything honestly and completely.
