DESCRIPTION: For sale is an extremely well maintained, garage kept 1988 Mitsubishi Montero 4X4 4-Wheel Drive, manual transmission with 234k original miles with a clean and clear title. Never abused or taken off road, incredible condition for a 28 year old truck . It is in great original condition, showing less than average wear and tear. Its a rare, unmolested survivor. The bad: This is my sons vehicle that he purchased to do an engine swap and decided to go with a car instead of replacing the engine on this one.. The engine is not running and is seized up. I did buy a parts vehicle for the engine so you will get a good rebuildable engine with the purchase of this Montero.. If you would like a new engine installed in this Montero the cost will be $2000 plus $500 for install so please consider this in the total purchase price and is not included unless you request and pay additional fees for the engine and labor. DETAILS: · ENGINE 2.6L 4 Engine with 234k miles. The engine is in need of rebuilding and does not run. Comes with spare rebuildable engine Front and rear differential lube changed New fuel filterNew Air filter New NGK spark plugsBrake fluid flushed and replaced Power steering flushed and replaced Greased and lubed New wiper blades · TRANSMISSION: It has the original manual transmission,. It goes into all the gears perfectly with no slipping issues. 4 Wheel drive work perfect. · INTERIOR: It has the original gray cloth interior in okay condition with some damage. This Montero is in excellent condition for the year, has some minor wear and tear but not bad (very hard to find in this condition). Headliner is not in the best condition but can be replaced easily (see photos) The carpets are clean and not soiled and comes with new black all weather floor mats · PAINT AND BODY: The body is rust free and in great shape for the year, color is red. It does have some light dents and or scratches on the body that could easily be removed with painless dent removal and some touch up. Undercarriage cleaned and corrosion coating professionally applied. · WHEELS AND TIRES: Original aluminum wheels powder coated satin black with New all terrain mud tires all around including spare. Brand Thunderer Trac Grip M/T TIRES 235/75R15'' with new chrome lug nuts. Also comes with a full size OEM spare wheel and matching tire.. · ELECTRICAL AND ACCESSORIES It has the factory A/C system that works great and blows cold. No warning lights on in dash of any kind.. · EXHAUST: Exhaust system is in good shape. · SUSPENSION AND BRAKES: The suspension is stock and rides well..
