1951 Mercury Model SP4D Very solid body. Small dent right front fender (see photo) Tire well is rusted out (see photo) Copies of the original manuals I have over $12,000.00 in receipts of what has already been spent on this car.Please Note: This car is being sold AS IS. Partially restored 1951 Mercury 4 door. Flat head V8 rebuilt put in but not running yet. Interior needs restoration Has front and back windows but no side windows Brand new tires and brand new polished Aluminum American Racing wheels New breaks and break lines. Complete new wiring. 6 volt system Manual 3 speed overdrive Headers with new exhaust Lots of extra parts. Comes with a lot of parts including the following: All side moulding Fiberglass fender skirts Original grill plus extra DeSoto grill Comes with some Dynamat sound barrier, new in box Original steel rims Rubber door seals New heater core Extra flat head crank shaft.And a whole lot of other parts. Too many to list.I bought this car from the widow of one of my best friends with the intentions of completing the restoration, however, due to a lot of life changes recently, I just can't do it and hoping there is a special someone out there who will finish it. As I said above, I have over $12,000.00 in receipts that have been bought for this car. The frame is in excellent condition with no alterations, it has a rebuilt flat head, but does not run yet. My wife listed my car for me and every time someone has a question she has to find me and ask the question, anyway, call me anytime. I am retired and usually around.
